Ball of Whacks: A Creativity Workshop in a Ball with Magnetic Design Blocks and Guidebook by Roger von Oech
Roger von Oech, author of A Whack on the Side of the Head: How You Can Be More Creative, has designed a new way to stimulate your thinking: the Ball of Whacks. He created it by dividing one of nature's most beautiful shapes - the thirty-sided rhombic triacontahedron - into 30 pyramids to produce a fun set of magnetic building blocks.
You can play with it in a variety of ways:
- Sometimes you'll be a designer crafting the pieces together to create new shapes.
- Sometimes you'll use it in a creativity workshop to help you develop ideas.
- And, sometimes you'll use it as a meditation aid in which playing with the pieces frees your mind from other concerns.
