About WALDO PUBLISHERS

Waldo Publishers presents books inspired by the philosophy of Ralph Waldo Emerson to “Activate ab intus" or "Activate from within.” This ability helps us develop our inner best and bring it to all that we do. Waldo presents and publishes books to encourage thinking and learning. Our goal is to enlighten humanity.

Waldo Publishers starts a tradition based on an array of books by Dorothy Stoltz and others aimed at helping libraries enlighten humanity. 

Several titles by Stoltz previously published by the American Library Association (ALA Editions) are available at https://www.alastore.ala.org/content/dorothy-stoltz  We are grateful for ALA Editions’ support and dedication in bringing those titles to fruition, Inspired Thinking (2020), Transform and Thrive (2018), Inspired Collaboration (2016), and others.

From Inspired Thinking (ALA Editions): When we harness gratitude, for example, and focus it on the talents, strengths, and accomplishments of ourselves and others, we are better able to make sense of circumstances, solve problems, and see that most people are basically decent and caring.

From Activate Peer Learning (Waldo Publishers): As a neutral place that can stimulate level-headed thinking, a library can shine light into a community to help any one of us learn to think clearly, make wise decisions, and see unlimited possibilities.
